The name Kamba means rope in Swahili — symbolizing the three principles that bind everything we do: Strength, Mobility, and Longevity. These aren't just fitness goals. They are the foundation of a life well-lived and a career well-played.

Founded by Coach Chris Wambua, Kamba Fit was built on the belief that every person deserves a training system that is both science-based and deeply personal. Over 11 years in Westport, Kansas City, we have refined a methodology that works for busy adults and competitive youth athletes alike.

FLOOR SYSTEM

Every Kamba Fit session is structured around the 7 Rs — a proprietary coaching framework that guides athletes from preparation through performance and into recovery. This is the science behind the results.

Soft tissue work and myofascial release to reduce tension, improve tissue quality, and prepare the body for movement.

RESET

Breathing and nervous system reset. Re-establish proper movement patterns and joint centration before loading.

READINESS

Dynamic warm-up and movement preparation. Prime the neuromuscular system for the demands of the session ahead.

Speed, agility, and reactive training. Develop fast-twitch capacity, coordination, and athletic responsiveness.
