1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kamba Fit website at kambafit.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use the site.

2. Services

Kamba Fit provides personal training, semi-private training, youth performance programs, and movement assessments. Information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program.

3. Assumption of Risk

Physical training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, injury, and in rare cases, more serious harm. By participating in any Kamba Fit program, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You represent that you are in good physical health and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. Kamba Fit is not liable for injuries sustained during training sessions.

4. Payments and Refunds

All payments for Kamba Fit services are processed securely through Stripe. Session packages and memberships are generally non-refundable once purchased. However, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in extenuating circumstances, such as a documented injury that prevents continued training or a permanent relocation out of the Kansas City area. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and are granted at the sole discretion of Kamba Fit management.

Unused sessions from a package may be transferred to a friend or family member at no additional charge. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] prior to the transferred session.

5. Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. If you need to cancel due to an emergency — such as illness or a family situation — please notify us as soon as possible and we will work with you to reschedule at no penalty.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice without an emergency) and no-shows will result in automatic forfeiture of that session from your package. Kamba Fit reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to coach illness, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, videos, logos, and training materials — is the property of Kamba Fit and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission from Kamba Fit.

7. Photography and Media Release

By training at Kamba Fit, you grant us permission to photograph or record training sessions for use in marketing materials, social media, and promotional content, unless you have explicitly opted out in writing. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us before your first session.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kamba Fit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our programs. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jackson County, Missouri.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
